You heard of 7-layer dips, bars and parfaits, but have you heard of 7-layer salad? It is a slightly preparatory dish that was developed in advance. If you need meals for a grave-and-go before work or at school, this is a great option.
But don’t let the simple lightness of the recipe be fooled – this salad is not missing any taste nor texture! It has a creamy and spicy dressing, fresh salad, onions, peas, crispy bacon, cheese and hard -boiled eggs. Overall, it is a hearty and lively meal. Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper taste
- 1 Lettuce lettuce chopped
- 1 cup frozen peas thawed
- 1/2 cup red onion finely chopped
- 1/2 pound bacon Cooked and crumbled
- 4 hard -boiled eggs chopped
- 1 1/3 Cup Shredded Cheddar cheese
- Chopped green onions garnish
Instructions

Whisk on a medium -sized bowl of mayonnaise, sour cream, granulated sugar, white vinegar, salt and pepper. Set the spices to the taste. Set aside.

In a large clear bowl half of the chopped salad, followed by half of the peas, the red onion, bacon, the hard-boiled eggs and the Cheddar cheese. Spread half of the dressing exaggerated. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.

Cover the salad and cool down for at least 30 minutes before fusion of the flavors. Sprinkle with green onions for garnish.
